Shade, deck and pool, working as one outdoor zone

Pergola with insulated roof panel over composite Blackbutt decking, set alongside a swimming pool in McKellar. Outdoor entertaining zone combining roofed shade, weather-resistant decking, and pool-edge integration.

Composite Blackbutt was specified because it stays cool underfoot and shrugs off pool splash, chlorine, and the wet/dry cycle that destroys timber decks next to pools. The insulated pergola roof keeps the entertaining zone usable through Canberra summer afternoons. Drone aerials let you see how the pergola, deck, and pool sit as one geometric composition from above.
